Citizens can lodge Grievances regarding the problems faced by them ,like Issuing of Death/Birth certificate, Solid waste management, drainage, storm water drain, roads & traffic control, factories, license issues, water supply, buildings, encroachment, etc. by methods enlisted below.

Licensing System Shop-Room Rental |
The licensing department of Cuttack Municipal Corporation provides the shop rooms on rent to the people interested for establishment of business in Cuttack, This body is primarily responsible for supervising and controlling the working and functioning of Markets established in Cuttack for business purposes. Shop room License and renewal of shop room license are both the major works of the licensing section. |
The system generates demand letter for collection of receipt and very soon the web site will have that facility.

CMC has already computerized this section with records entered since 1970. You can check your birth & death registration records or registration number for this period.

CMC has a reservation system in place to make reservations at Kalyan Mandap, Sahid Bhawan and Town Hall.

CMC has maintained this Inventory records with all the back logs in place ensuring accountability for each of its assets and stock. |

CMC is developing an Employee Information System maintaining all records of CMC employees. |
Court Case Management System |
CMC has developed and is maintaining all its case records on a Court Case
management Software. All the back log records have already been entered into the system and the software is helping CMC’s legal section to track and attend the respective cases on the respective dates. |

CMC has developed and is maintaining all its beneficiary lists on Poverty Alleviation System.

Holding Tax Administration System |
The Holding Tax department of CMC provides the property assessment in Cuttack city. Any holding within CMC limits having clear right, title, interest of the holder is liable to pay Holding Tax @ of 20.5% of the annual value of the holding depending on the nature of holding, i.e. either residential or commercial. |
